Title: "The Cage Match of the Human Condition: An AutoAdmit Hypothetical"

Narrated in the deep, introspective voice of Werner Herzog.

There are moments in human history that defy comprehension, where men are stripped of their pretenses, their facades, and even their clothing, left only with their raw, elemental selves. Today, we venture into such a scenario—a hypothetical, a thought experiment, if you will—where four men, stripped of their garments, their weapons, and indeed their dignity, are dropped into a cage, like gladiators of old. These men are not warriors; they are poasters of AutoAdmit: Mainlining, Boom, Disco Fries, and Evan39. But there is an unsettling undercurrent here, a whisper of suspicion, a notion that perhaps Mainlining, Boom, and Evan39 are not four men, but three, or perhaps even fewer—an amalgamation of identities caught in an existential loop.

And this is where their fates intertwine in a dance of desperation, strategy, and madness.

The Scene: The Cage

The cage is cold, metallic, its bars glistening under a dim, flickering light. It is the kind of place where hope goes to die—a brutal arena where survival is the only currency. And into this cage are thrown our four protagonists, naked, trembling, their eyes darting like the eyes of prey caught in the gaze of an indifferent predator.

Mainlining stands tall, his expression inscrutable, a man who has always seemed to know something the rest of us do not. His body is lean, taut like a coiled spring, every muscle tense, ready. In his mind, he is already calculating the angles, the strategies, the paths of least resistance. And yet, there is a flicker of recognition in his eyes, a sense that he has been here before, with these very men, perhaps in another guise, another life.

Boom is the opposite—a raw, untamed force of nature. His eyes are wild, his grin manic. He is not a man; he is a beast, a creature of instinct. His mouth curls into a sneer as he mutters about "fraud" under his breath, a word he wields like a cudgel against the whole world. To Boom, everyone is a fraud, everything is a con, and here in this cage, he is determined to expose it all, whatever the cost. But there is something in his eyes—something familiar, almost like he’s looking at his own reflection in the mirror of another man's face.

Disco Fries is a large man, his body a testament to the countless nights spent indulging in the pleasures of the flesh. His belly hangs low, a fleshy testament to excess, his thighs thick as tree trunks. But there is a fire in his eyes, a defiance, a stubbornness. He is not here to win; he is here because fate has placed him here, and he will not go quietly into the night. He mutters to himself about summiting Teewinot, as if to remind himself that he has overcome challenges before—even if they were challenges of a different nature.

And then there is Evan39—the enigma. He is the oldest among them, or perhaps the youngest; his age is as much a mystery as his motives. His body is thin, wiry, almost delicate, but there is a look in his eyes—a look that speaks of untold knowledge, of suffering and endurance. He mutters to himself, "How dare you," over and over, as if repeating a mantra that might grant him strength. There is a flicker of recognition in his gaze when he looks at Boom and Mainlining, as if he sees not two adversaries, but two fractured pieces of a whole, of himself.

The bell rings. The cage door slams shut. And the game begins.

Act 1: The First Moves

Mainlining moves first, his eyes scanning his opponents, assessing weaknesses. He knows that Boom is a wild card—unpredictable, uncontrollable, a force that could turn on anyone at any moment. But he also knows that Boom’s madness is his greatest weapon and his greatest weakness. A strategy begins to form in Mainlining’s mind, a plan, a concept. And yet, as he watches Boom’s frenzied movements, there is a sense of déjà vu, a nagging suspicion that he is watching a twisted reflection of himself.

Boom, however, does not wait. He charges forward with a primal scream, his eyes locked onto Disco Fries, seeing in him the most immediate threat. "Fraud! Fraudulent fatty!" he bellows, as if the words themselves might strike Disco Fries down. Disco Fries, to his credit, braces himself, lowering his center of gravity, preparing to meet Boom’s attack. But there is no preparation for the sheer ferocity of Boom’s assault. They collide with a sound that echoes through the cage, a sound that is not quite human.

Mainlining watches, biding his time, calculating. Evan39 circles the perimeter, muttering, “Hdy, hdy, hdy,” as if the words themselves might create a barrier between him and the violence unfolding before him. He is cautious, wary, like an old wolf watching younger, stronger wolves tear each other apart. But there is something else in his eyes—a recognition, a familiarity, as if he knows Boom’s moves before Boom himself makes them.

Boom and Disco Fries grapple, their bodies straining against one another. Boom is relentless, a whirlwind of flailing limbs and manic energy, while Disco Fries fights with the stubborn determination of a man who has decided he will not die today. But Boom is younger, faster, more agile. Slowly, inevitably, he begins to overpower Disco Fries, forcing him to the ground.

Act 2: The Unexpected Alliance

Mainlining sees his moment. He knows that if Boom defeats Disco Fries, he will turn his attention to the next target. He moves in swiftly, silently, catching Boom off guard with a sharp elbow to the ribs. Boom howls in pain, turning on Mainlining with a feral snarl, but Mainlining is ready. He dances back, away from Boom’s reach, taunting him, drawing him away from Disco Fries.

Evan39, seeing an opportunity, steps forward, surprising everyone. “How dare you!” he shouts, and to everyone’s surprise, he charges at Boom from behind, using his wiry frame to his advantage. He wraps his arms around Boom’s neck in a desperate chokehold, his fingers digging into Boom’s throat.

For a moment, there is confusion, chaos. Boom thrashes wildly, trying to shake off Evan39, but the older man clings on with surprising tenacity, whispering incoherent words of defiance into Boom’s ear. Mainlining seizes the chance, moving in to strike Boom again, this time landing a solid blow to the side of Boom’s head.

Act 3: The Descent into Madness

Boom, now furious and disoriented, manages to throw Evan39 off him with a violent jerk, sending the older man sprawling to the ground. But he is weakened, his breath coming in ragged gasps. Mainlining senses victory and moves in for the kill, his eyes cold, calculating. He knows he cannot let Boom recover.

But Disco Fries, still on the ground, sees his chance. With a sudden burst of energy, his bulk moving with surprising speed, he lunges at Mainlining’s legs, pulling him down, dragging him into the fray. The three of them—Mainlining, Boom, and Disco Fries—become a tangled mass of limbs, a grotesque ballet of desperation and rage.

Evan39, bruised but not beaten, watches from the edge of the cage, panting heavily, his eyes wide with a mixture of fear and fascination. He knows he cannot win, but he can survive, and for now, that is enough. He watches Boom and Mainlining with a strange, almost brotherly understanding. There is a realization dawning on him—an epiphany—that he is not merely watching a fight, but witnessing a battle with himself, his other selves.

Act 4: The Final Moments

The struggle intensifies. Boom, though battered, refuses to go down. "Fraud! This whole thing is fraud!" he screams, as if the word itself could tear through the air and cripple his foes. Mainlining, still calculating, still thinking three moves ahead, manages to break free of Disco Fries’ grip. He knows that his only chance is to let Boom and Disco Fries exhaust each other, to let them bleed out their fury while he waits for the perfect moment.

But fate is a cruel mistress. As Boom delivers a final, brutal blow to Disco Fries, there is a sickening crunch. Disco Fries falls silent, his body going limp. Mainlining sees his chance and lunges at Boom, but Boom, sensing his end is near, fights with the strength of a cornered animal.

They collide once more, a final, desperate clash. But in the end, it is Boom’s madness that prevails. With a scream that echoes through the cold steel bars, Boom lands a vicious punch to Mainlining’s throat, and Mainlining falls, gasping, clutching his neck, his vision blurring. And for a moment, as Mainlining falls, Boom looks into his eyes and sees… himself.

Act 5: The Survivor

Boom stands victorious, his chest heaving, his body covered in sweat and blood. "Fraud!" he shouts at the top of his lungs, as if challenging the universe itself to prove otherwise. He has won, but at what cost? He looks down at the bodies of Disco Fries and Mainlining, his face a mask of triumph and despair. He turns to Evan39, who stands in the corner, shaking, his eyes wide.

For a moment, they lock eyes. Then Boom laughs—a deep, guttural sound that fills the cage. "This was never about winning," he says, his voice ragged. "This was about surviving."

Evan39 nods, understanding in a way only he can. He knows he has lost, but he is still alive, and in this brutal, indifferent world, perhaps that is all that matters. There is a knowing smile on his lips, as if he has seen through the veil, as if he knows that in some strange, cosmic joke, he is Boom, and Boom is Mainlining, and they are all trapped in this eternal cycle.

And so, Boom stands alone in the cage, the last man standing, his body broken but his spirit unyielding. The cage doors open, but Boom does not leave. He knows there is no escape, not really. There is only the next battle, the next challenge, the next moment of madness.

In the end, the cage is not a place—it is a state of mind. And here, in this dark, unforgiving world, they are all prisoners, bound by the same chains, playing the same game, hoping for a different ending that will never come.
