Date: February 13th, 2025 3:58 PM Author: brand new account Having a horrible day and wanted to vent so I made an account here. I just got this position in August and I was thrilled. The quality of “student” here is offensive. I walked in and I saw one of the students (not even exaggerating) swinging from the chandelier with a female in his arms laughing hysterically. I called campus security and they asked me “what do you want us to do about it? By the time we get there they will be off the chandelier.”
Every time I walk through campus students that I spend office time with and teach in smaller classes and lectures don’t even acknowledge me. Even when I say hello. They’re nice to me in the office though.
They had a local guy walk through campus with a machete screaming like a lunatic. Campus security responded “we’re just going to let this play out” as you heard someone laughing hysterically in the background.
This morning I was speaking and a student raised his hand and said “I think I saw your wife last night dancing like a stripper.” Everyone started laughing and howling. I quit now I have no job and no savings. |
