It's also real easy to smugly predict that TSLA is going to experience a major price correction when you have no money on the table, and then claim "victory" on your "brilliant prediction" when a dip finally happens (no one every claimed it wouldn't happen at some point). Finally, it's real easy to pretend like this "amazing track record" is equal to or better than the track record of someone who actually correctly called the winners (not just continually said everything was a loser) and put real money behind them on the way up (rather than perpetually waiting on the sidelines like a scared little fag).
The only real difference between those two track records is that one will make you boat loads of money, and the other won't get you shit. Odd case.

what's most frustrating is that any idiot could have predicted this. trump never shuts up about tariffs. tariffs are a cost for companies, which means they'll be less profitable and lose value in the short term. none of this should be surprising to anyone yet the moment their portfolio has a minor downswing (that happens multiple times a year, and after the market going straight up since ITE) they lose their minds.
