Got laid off about 6 months ago from V50. Having difficulty finding a job.
How hard is it to get a staff attorney job at Kasowitz?
NO FLAME!!!

Can't hurt to try. Plenty of staff attorneys and doc reviewers are former biglaw. Just understand the tradeoff you'll be making:
PRO:
- It's employment, and it pays alright.
CON:
- You're effectively ending your legal career and any chance of upwards advancement at this profession, nor are you transitioning to a new profession in which you could try to have an upwards trajectory. You might be able to do this job for years... but you also could get axed at any point, and at that point you really would have few other options.
