Simple math:
Bought house during COVID at $200k, sold for $400k. After all said and done I got a $100k check.
Bought new house now for $600k, put 30% down from my own money.
Now what do I do to maximize that $100k. Investing in my own house is certainly an option. But that will get me a 6% return on my 100k. If I throw it in some stock that triples in two years, now I got a 300% return. |
