Of course, in order for such a system to work, there would be some trade offs in freedom, as a person would of course be required to stay home, required to go to work, etc.

It's OK though, because there would be a benevolent few people who oversaw the various communities in order to make sure that everyone had what they needed and, of course, continued to do what they were supposed to do. Since this is an important job, it is possible that their standard of living may be higher than your average worker, and they would be in charge of selling what was produced in the communes.

Of course, these trade offs (lack of freedom, ruling class) are totally reasonable considering the evils of capitalism.

well, i think she thinks unemployment is defined by the number of available jobs, not by the number of people actively seeking jobs. so, unemployment is low because individuals are working two jobs thereby making fewer available jobs/unemployment
