Usually somewhere between 8-12 across all 4 practices, with M&A and Anticompetitive practices being more selective than the other two.
Competitive, but not as grades-focused as the elite firms. Govt experience, interest in litigation, clinical work, subject-area expertise all matter a great deal.

Oops, my bad, I was ONLY speaking about the Bureau of Competition; I don't know about the other two bureaus.
The actual names of the practices
Mergers & Acquisitions (merger review), Anti competitive Practices, Healthcare Services, Products and Compliance.
The 8-12 number was also only for the BC.
