Just awful. Journal = miserable. You're always busy for one reason or another, and you especially become bitter about the law (at least the law some doucher professor is teaching you that doesn't matter).

don't do a journal. alternatively, do a journal without a note requirement.
don't too many difficult classes. strike a balance between easy and hard, or at least classes you think are important and unimportant.
try to get laid a lot w/ non law students, and 1 or 2 1Ls

The only credited answer is:
It all depends on how you do in OCI. If you get an SA offer at a good firm, 2L year (like 3L) will be a joke. Even if you are on a journal, that will be the one responsibility you have all year, and you can blow off your classes. However little work you do should be enough to get you a B, and if you really care, study for a few weeks before the exam and you can take your B+. Either way, you'll hardly go to class, so you'll be enjoying 3/4 of the semester.
But if you strike out at OCI, I guess 2L would be even worse than 1L.
