3. If you have trouble eating too much -- or just really really like to eat a lot of food when you eat -- try skipping breakfast. Too many people eat breakfast because they think they should in order to "rev up their metabolism" (nonsense) or because otherwise they'll lose muscle mass (nonsense). Even when I'm not dieting, I never eat until about five to seven hours after I wake up just so that when I eat I can eat like a fucking pig. 2. Moisturize every day with a moisturizer that has at least SPF 15. Consume a lot of omega-3 and drink a lot of water. If you're in the sun all day, put on at least SPF 30. This will help slow down aging.
3. Exercise regularly, preferably in the morning before you go to work. This helps jump-start your day like no other. Adopt a more exercise-heavy and health conscious lifestyle.
4. Learn to cook at least 2 or 3 meals that you'd feel comfortable serving to someone else.
5. Don't get too butthurt and take it too personally if someone dumps you/rejects you because you're ultimately not their type. People are after all sorts of different things so unless you're completely on the ass end of the bell curve in terms of looks and personality you'll find someone who sees you as their type.
6. Pay off all your bills on time, especially your credit card bills.
7. Live overseas for at least a few months of your life and make the effort to interact with people other than Americans. If anything it'll make you appreciate what we have in America more.
8. There are certain aspects of life which should be approached as competitions and other aspects of life which should not be. Learn to differentiate the two, and if you find yourself in the former situation realize that your "fiercest" competitors can turn out to be your closest friends and best allies, especially when the competition is done. A true competitor in a healthy competition pushes you to be your best and brings out the best in you. This is what you should care about, not winning or losing.
9. Trust should be earned.
10. Get regular massages. |
