Like NYC if you threw it at the Earth and it splattered everywhere. Second biggest city in the country but it doesn't feel like a real city. Beautiful people, beautiful weather, but feels like the whole thing is some kind of simulation of a city. |

the frightening thing about flying into LA is that there's a band of time from between the moment you see the eastern edge of the sprawl, and the time you can catch sight of the ocean, and in that span, it seems like the city is just never going to come to an end. in its own way, it is very frightening. |
