not much, unless it says "we're going to hire Baxxter after he graduates, no matter his performance in LS."

It can't hurt, if you include it in addition to professor recs. I think schools are starting to want kids who actually understand what a law firm is and does. So if you worked at a good one and did a good job, it should be a small +. If the guy expresses any inclination to hire you after LS, that is, of course, a big +.

LOL, a biglaw summer internship.

"Dear Admissions Officers at T14 LS,

H.P. Baxxter definitely knows how to use the copier to scan documents and turn them into pdfs sent to my inbox when my secretary is busy turning changes on a different document. He had a little trouble the first five or six times we asked him to do it, but he got the hang of it eventually. Navigating through those submenus can be a little tricky.

Signed,

V30 Partner"

It goes without saying but...YOU'LL GET IN EVERYWHERE YOU APPLY!

for what? if you mean for law school it has the same weight as all law school letters of recommendation: literally zero unless the letter is just coded HE'S URM.

He was unable to provide a credit report or proof of Old World Lineage upon registration, but despite these setbacks, he still managed to show up to class mostly on time.
