shampoo and all that is covered in the food budget. i lump all that together. so are any trips to starbucks or anything like that. i lump it together cuz it all goes on the credit card, and 220 is about my average monthly CC bill.
all told, along with the occassional splurge like an mp3 player, it probably comes out to just under 9k.
i wish it were lower. there is no need to spend 9000 dollars, which is a lot of money, just to support one person. but i am lazy and never cook. i could save a fortune if i cooked myself.
also my rent is kinda high. but it's about the cheapest i could find that wasn't in the ghetto.

There was a poster named Julius Caesar's Mistress ("JCM" for short). Pretty cool chick. (An actual female!) She and I were off-board pals who would talk on AIM all the time. Anyway, IIRC, there was a newspaper article about someone dying in a car accident near Portland, Maine (everyone knew that's where she lived) and she and I got this idea and conspired to post on the board (as a joke) that she was the victim of said car accident. Since I had a decent amount of credibility amongst XOXO regulars, and everyone knew that JCM and I talked off-board, everyone believed me. And because JCM was a cool chick, the board was actually sad.
The thread was something like "JCM IS DEAD!!! She really died :(" or something like that. The silliness of the thread title (in hindsight) spawned the meme.
Obviously, it was flame. |
