Box is not doomed professionally. Programming is a great choice of career for her, because it can be unstructured when she has BPD exacerbations, and she can return to it after periods of absence.
Plus, if she really tames the BPD, she can easily go into start-up land and bank. Tech doesn't hold stuff against you the way other industries do.

I didn't take the tbird's job offer, am disappointed I fucked myself out of a great deal, but realize I would've suffered for it in other ways.
You and I have very different notions of "fun" and "chill". My "chilling" would still involve working 20-40 hours a week. I could not do nothing. |
