Booze is generally credited and flowing freely so that's usually enough, but if you're there for a while and have a lot of heavy morning shit to deal with, or if family doesn't drink much/at all, better off not drinking in the am and popping a benzo instead. Depending on how far you like to go with the drinking, uppers can help being you back to life in the morning.
Obviously using alcohol, benzos, and uppers Within a short time period is probably best left to pros and could lead to disaster for an amateur, but they're also valuable tools that can save the holidays if done right.
