Car "dealership" screwed me over again (evan39)

I stopped at a gas station on my way home and saw that the service I requested was NOT completed. It was only partially done, and one other thing was neglected entirely. Fucking prole idiots at the "technician" desk didn't pay attention to what I said, and spent more time talking about the free fucking popcorn and coffee in the waiting area than about the vehicle. A bulb went out on his car, and it was due for an oil change, so he figured he'd just tell his oil change place to replace the bulb.
He tells the guy he's there for an oil change, and also needs such and such bulb replaced.
The guy at the counter starts yapping about how they do a 150 point inspection with every oil change, blah blah blah. And my dad says, "that's fine, but i'm telling you the ___ light is out and needs to be replaced along with the oil change."
anyway, he picks up his car later and the light is still burned out. he has to take it back, the manager gets pissed at the workers, the workers are apologizing about how they don't know it got past their zillion point inspection, etc. he's like, "i specifically told you it was out and needed to be replaced."
they followed up with a corporate survey. he wrote what happened in the survey without being rude about it, and the place called back and gave him a bunch of coupons for free oil changes. |
