basically zero. A few hills. Only gained 1,000 feet of elevation after 52 miles.

Also... basically at sea level.

None... it was a great chill ride. It was raining hard the entire time though. Didn't really bother me, and I actually kind of liked it. People would pass me looking at me like I was a retard.

I was covered head to toe in sandy grit, but I kind of felt like a BA. It was like 55 degrees, which was warm enough for me.

Mostly bike trails next to the road, but about 10 miles of it was on a busy two lane highway. I wear a High Vis cycling jacket, but it still freaks me out riding on the road. Even back roads freak me out because I think people pay even less attention on those roads. I just slide and let do. Down 15 lbs in two weeks. Hope to be down below 200 again in the next few weeks. Ultimate goal is the 170-180 range.

Welp! That sucked!

5 miles... knees hurt, heels hurt, and ankles hurt. Quads are surprisingly fine... but that's probably from the cycling.

I did get into a groove after about a mile and the creaks started diminishing. That said, I'll probably do it again. Did some really short HIIT stuff that's really hard to duplicate on a bike. (you can do it, but it's not the same).

I was doing an 10 minute/mile pace... Was basically jogging. Hadn't run in so long, it was more about just seeing if I could do it.

Had an argument with a friend... he said I'd need to train for a Half Marathon and I said no way. I'm certain I could have finished a half marathon and not been too fucked up. I wouldn't have done it quickly, but I could have done it. I just got into a zone after awhile. If I was actually in shape, a half marathon would be NBD. Not sure why shrews make such a big deal about these things.
