Looks pretty good. I would get bored as hell by some of that shit. Maybe try to make a site or some piece of software that you would personally want to use rather than following this EXACT guide.

Also, consider watching videos of professionals doing the job. The more recent the content, the better. Lots of shit you will dredge up on google will be super dated and just confuse you.

I would recommend something like free code camp instead, unless you already dabble with html/css/js.

What you need as a beginner is structure to help you progress from basic stuff to more complicated stuff. A list of great resources aimed at helping junior devs level up to intermediate devs is not super helpful for a beginner. For example, the You Don't Know JS Series is probably my favorite JavaScript resource, but it would have been overwhelming and unintelligible if I had tried to start off with it.

I started FCC and wanted something more comprehensive. I took a HTML/CSS class in undergrad and went through the first two YDKJS books and felt like I understood what I was reading.

Sounds like you've got a handle on it then. If you already have something like FCC giving you structured progression, that list has really high quality resources to round out your education, which is especially important if you aren't the traditional CS grad. Keep doing FCC projects though. Churning out shit code that gets the job done is more important than knowledge of best practices that you never apply.

I made the same transition a few years ago doing basically the same thing, but with the Odin project and another list of resources. You can maek it at any age.

Yes engineers use a lot of math. Web dev and IT generally does not involve math. We are talking about putting something in a db and taking it out and displaying it. There is no need to waste time on calc for that.
