This + just reading Themis FRO's and Leansheet;s Outline.

Essay wise I'm identifying ~80-85% of issues, but still need to commit rules into memory. The Themis model answers are intimidating because I don't think I'll have the rules down that cold.

MPT - I did one graded one for Themis and grader gave me a 4 out of 6; I can live with that since I only lost points of laziness because I didn't want to spend time touching on everything. Other than that, just skimming through the different MPTs that have been asked and model answers, but MPT is only a concern in terms of boredom. I assume adrenaline during the exam will carry me through it.

getting sick the week before the exam has been a HUGE suckage into the plan. still doing a ton of MBEs. i'm around 1200 done. i started at like 64% and am now cruising around 87%.

i am going to basically hammer lean sheets until the end while still doing 100 or so MBEs a day. wish me luck.

i've found the eliminating approach plus erasing common sense approach helped in adding at least 10% to my MBE. a) just read all of it and reject the impulse to pick the first right answer. read all 4. reject the bad ones. and you are left with 2, maybe even the 1 right off. b) when in doubt, apply the rule STRICTLY even if it seems fucking ridiculous.

anything regarding family i'm lost at sea. also an evidence question will be a bear.

i've done damn near 1200 MBE questions. i topped at 87% and now am glossing at like 67% now. i basically need to just coast at this point. i know it or i don't. wishing you luck and i hope you wish me luck! don't want to do this again in feb.

you need to take a day off and just issue spot some essays. are you taking CA? My plan is to drill some PTs every day until the test...I honestly believe strong MBE ~75% + strong PT 70 or over, you'd have to be dumb as fuck to straight 50 every essay. I basically started reviewing essays yesterday, but if you're skraight on the MBE stuff you should be able to make it through some bullshit adverse posession / negligence / whatever analysis.

Is there a “one weird trick” to adequately scoring on the MEE? I can issue spot no problem, but even focusing on the Leansheets “high” rules there is a ton of shit to memorize. All the Themis model answers would recite rules to perfection. Is that really needed, or can you do well enough with IRAC + a half assed / madeup’ish rule statement?
