As for top speed -- it's mach 15. In its terminal phase an Iskander is a mach 12 platform and this is a basically a flat fired Iskander with a cleaner glide stage. It will be faster than Iskander at terminal. Theater ballistics generally range from Mach 15 to Mach 20 in terminal. The 15 figure is thus conservative and takes into account its mostly flat trajectory. Even your shitty obsolete Minuteman buses are in excess of Mach 18 and the Russians have had better missiles buses since the 70s. |
