New York City is experiencing the highest rate of homelessness since the Great Depression. For every 1 person experiencing homelessness here, there are ~3 vacant apartments. Inequality is a crisis, and a bold, 21st-century effort on poverty must advance. |

imagine if, in addition to a place to live, we also gave these people jobs: they could keep up, stage, and show the home to potential buyers. and when the sale occurs, they can get a percentage of the fee, and move on to the next unit needing their services
we could raise property values significantly with a program like this, while housing and employing the most underprivileged members of society |
