Perhaps in some places, but obviously not nationally given that there aren't massive teacher surpluses. If you want to become a teach, it is pretty easy to do so (and in some places they will beg you to do it).
Contrast that with federal government workers and California police and firefighters. Are they overpaid? Obviously, because if you're white and want to get one of these jobs you sometimes need to win a literal lottery. |
