Most racist thing is affirmative action. And I'm not talking about racism against whites or asians. It's racist against blacks. We take the most promising black people and the most promising asians, and put them in the same school. It's basically impossible for all but a couple black students to get decent grades in the same classes that asians take, so they either have to get C's in a STEM major, or move to one where they don't face the same competition. It fucks the entire system, giving virtually zero black people to opportunity to study towards and eventually succeed in the most relevant professions. Now if that same black dude who was admitted to Harvard with a 1250 SAT instead went to Indiana, he'd have no problem competing to get good grades, wouldn't be discouraged by failure, and would be ready to contribute to the economy upon graduating.
On the other hand, asians get massive benefit from the same scheme. They coast to perfect STEM GPA's, then get hired by FAANG, even if they went to a shittier school like Illinois. And you might disagree with me, but I think Illinois->FAANG is a much better outcome than Harvard->African American Studies PhD. |

She was being bullied in school and brought a knife to defend herself against a group of girls that were legit beating her. Even though it was a clear case of self defense they charged her and got a conviction. The liberal judge basically talked down to her and told her to stop taking the AP classes, they "weren't for her".
For that matter, what about how liberals go after every black person that speaks up against the liberal agenda? They dont actually want minorities to success on their own merits. For those who actually are talented and bright, their every achievement is undermined by affirmative action.
What benefit is there to sending people who are unprepared to top schools where they often need to keep a full time job just to cover costs? Is this really going to lead to success? Or is this a way to keep minorities down so that they need to continue to take "token" black studies classes and be the token minority as they are unprepared for the actual substantive classes they need to take to succeed in the real world and get real self respect? These same people could have gone to a state school where they would have continued to be top of their class and actually had a real career and real accomplishments instead of being someone's token little affirmative action pet. Feels a tad racist. |
