Wife *only* refers to pussy in public as her "axe wound" or "slut slot."

I get that sometimes, in dynamic conversation, you've got to bring up your love box. But when past girlfriends would talk about their stench trench they'd use tasteful, or at the very least clinical, terminology, whereas when the wife decides to bust out her latest story about her sideways sloppy joe she only ever uses those two descriptors. I've tried to talk to her about it from the angle that it's inartfully repetitive language to not switch it up a little when discussing her panty hamster, but she tells me to "lighten up if [I] want in [her] Tinderbox tonight."
Am I wrong to care about how my wife talks about what is, after all, *her* peter heater, not mine? Should I just ask her to not talk so much about her jigaboo canoe when we're out with our friends?
