Say you identify a solid potential class action case that hasn't been filed yet, and perhaps you even have a good lead plaintiff lined up. What is the typical referral fee/arrangement like if you take it to a class action firm? I know it obviously won't be the typical 30-45% for bringing in a typical plaintiff's case, but does the referring attorney even get any value at all? Or is there just not much value placed up front on identifying solid class actions, and you need to actually file the case and get certified before another firm will give you a cut?
