i read the article on charles earlier and there are a few quick things that other people probably already mentioned that i feel are important to note. these things aren't just relevant to charles but to everyone on this website.

1.) shared accounts

i'm not the only one who knows the password to my account. i know the passwords of others' accounts (and they know i do). i don't think that's uncommon on here.

2.) edits and blank bumps

anyone can edit any of his or her posts (not the title, but the body of the OP and all reply posts) at any time. someone could post, "justice for george floyd" in a thread, accumulate 15 blank bumps (or "upvotes" as cnn calls them, lol), and then change their post to "george floyd deserved it." the blank bumps would still be there and cnn would consider those "upvotes"/endorsements of the edited post.

3.) post history wiping

it's possible to run a script to erase all your past post history on this website (everything but thread titles, i think). when someone runs that script, all of his or her posts become blank bumps. if someone poasts something like "ugh i hate all women and jews and non-whites" and you disagree with that post in the replies, then later scrub your post history, cnn will think you're blank bumping/"upvoting"/endorsing that poast.

not to mention that cnn's "exposé" on charles included unsavory post titles he had merely replied to:

"When not making his own bigoted comments, [charles] has shown a willingness to respond to others who were, without expressing any hesitation, much less disgust, about what they've said. For instance, in 2016 he replied to a thread with the title, "Mary Poppins getting raped by a pack of wild ni***rs at the park; kids watching." That same year, he commented on a thread titled, "DIKES get wrong CUM at CUMBANK. N****R pops out." Just last month, [charles] replied to a comment on the thread that said, "And the n**s are always honor students or some bullshit." (The language on both posts was not censored on the forum.)"

how is that worthy of publishing? publishing that is irresponsible and misleading journalism, imo. there are threads with titles like that all the time containing replies from people insulting the OP or arguing against the post-- those who did also "replied" to the posts just like charles.

that's all. i don't agree with all charles said or poasted but what happened to him really sucks and i hope he's okay. this is better than christmas for tucker's rivals on other channels

The universally accepted nomenclature for approval of poasts is "180" or "cr".

Blank bumps can mean approval, but they can signify other things as well.

They don't care about accuracy in reporting, or the truth, or anything else. They just need their hate object of the moment, and will lie, slander, dox, and do anything else they can do to get their sacrificial lamb.

This is like telling a Mayan priest that actually you don't need to sacrifice a human to make the sun come up. The truth doesn't matter. The act of ritual slaughter is the only thing that matters.

this isn't just about charles. my point is that i could take almost any longtime active user on this site (assuming i know his or her irl identity and one of their active monikers), gather a list of of ~problematic~ posts they've merely replied to or blank bumped along with questionable posts they've made detached from their context, and compose a similarly slanderous article about that user.

charles aside, that's something to consider.
