strong prescription sleep pills aside from Ambien?

Any other prescription drugs that are as strong / will knock you out as well as Ambien?
Thoughts on Temazepam (Restoril)? Or Sontota (another Z drug like Ambien? Or Halcion (a benzo)? Never tried any of these.
I heard Lunesta is a baby version of Ambien, so don't want to bother with it.
My problem is sleep induction, not maintenance. |

I tried Restoril as an alternative to Ambien for insomnia and didn't do shit.
Any experience with Lunesta?
I'm afraid Ambien broke my brain and that there is nothing that can beat it. |
