A Tolkien Knower explained me once that Gollum is essential to the story cause it shows the corruption of the Ring, plus Frodo’s humanity/Christian virtue by not allowing Sam to kill him. But I don’t care about any of that. I hate that annoying fucker. No way I’m watching a whole movie about him. |
