There was nothing uplifting or redeeming about any of the shows we grew up on. The only difference is that there were few kid-focused channels so EVERY SHOW seemed like a big hit because we had nothing else to watch.

Now kids have dozens of streaming channels to watch whatever suits their fancy as opposed to being forced to watch hokey bullshit like Sharon, Lois & Bram's Elephant Show.
