IMO the ideal outcome for Republicans is for him to come off frail but not have any obvious freezing / senior moments. If he totally freezes up like he has been lately he is probably toast to the point that Dems replace him with Whitmer or whoever, which would be a game changer and a real threat.
The worst thing for Republicans would be a disaster of a Biden debate. I think Trump loses to a DNC plant candidate if they pick someone mostly inoffensive like Whitmer. |
