Things have shifted slightly in the culture war battle lines though. A while ago Subarus were cr cars that gays/lesbians happened to prefer and Subaru *quietly* supported such an association. Now they are quite open about it and obviously aren't going to change anytime soon. And in the face of Toyota dropping their support of fag/DEI shit, it's harder to continue to support Subaru IMO.
