how prole is it to make "stuffing" that's not actual stuffing, i.e., from the bird's ass? we never make real stuffing.

btw wife uses ezekiel bread for the bread crumbs bc healthy. she's a 180 cook otherwise, but it's just too healthy.

A cream or other soup. Very rare item on Thanksgiving in 2024 but still a classic upper class dish.

I’m talking about a pumpkin cream or veloute, not the prole (but delicious) post-Thanksgiving turkey noodle soup.

lol we have all been to that family party. Only thing missing from your list is the cheapest cheese possible precut into cubes that all taste exactly the same on the Keebler crackers. Tbf my parents are getting lazy and are sliding into that territory now in their 70s along with whatever “lazy dessert” recipes my mom sees on Facebook where you, eg, take a boxed cake mix and dump it with a can of condensed milk and put it in a premade pie crust. It’s sad. Mom used to make everything from scratch and was a very good cook.

yep they usually do the cheese cubes too. they might have had it ready that time too but left it at home when my wife texted a picture of the charcuterie board she was making

they still cook good stuff but can’t help putting out the shitty appetizers. kids are usually full by the time dinners ready at their house. also lulzy is they act like no matter how gluttonous the meal it’s healthy if you eat a salad first

modern Costco version yes otoh there's nothing stopping you from assembling a spread close to what they had in 1621 (local fowl, venison, cod, stews) also instead of engorging yourself and watching niggers collide on tv the day should be a grim affair treated like a Solemnity, a feast day in which you think on your white sins.
