They all have massive attitudes and superiority complexes. Its like the worst type of highway patrolmen behavior combined with this belief that the National Parks belong to them personally.
They take special joy in harassing people that haven't done anything wrong. Screaming at ppl to "stay away" from elk when they were standing 75 yards away (the rule is 25 yards only).
Its very often these total shrewish women too, of every age, often lesbians it would appear, who scold nag finger waive at people.

While there is plenty of government bloat (e.g., why did USAID have 10,000 employees?), I've never had the impression that there were too many park rangers. It looks like there were about 15,000 total. |

I talked to them basically out of pity and they started droning on about the dfurniture or some shit on the top floor. I tried to humor them but was in a hurry so had to end the conversation. They seemed bored out of their minds and happy someone even spoke to them. I was curious enough to go all the way upstairs to see the hand railing or whatever tf they were talking about.
Point being, why the fuck were there two park rangers fellating themselves at valley forge? A fucking sign would have been probly more effective. Or imagine this, an interactive app that tells you about the site for the rare person who gives half a shit about details of washingtons house at valley forge (not even autistic me could feign interest for more than about 45 seconds).
The problem is deeper than the chubster female at voyageurs. There are "rangers" working at every fed monument/shoreline whatever. Those are the ones that need to be fed to the sharks.
