They all have massive attitudes and superiority complexes. Its like the worst type of highway patrolmen behavior combined with this belief that the National Parks belong to them personally.
They take special joy in harassing people that haven't done anything wrong. Screaming at ppl to "stay away" from elk when they were standing 75 yards away (the rule is 25 yards only).
Its very often these total shrewish women too, of every age, often lesbians it would appear, who scold nag finger waive at people.

While there is plenty of government bloat (e.g., why did USAID have 10,000 employees?), I've never had the impression that there were too many park rangers. It looks like there were about 15,000 total. |
