Along with my 2 half asian kids we went to a coffee shop this morning. An older boomer woman said "wow such a big family" and commented how well behaved they were, then said so nice to see people adopt (looking at my kids). She thought me and my cousin were married and adopted 2 asians. She ended up paying our tab. It's crazy how many people complimented her kids for being white with blue eyes basically. People will come up to her and stop her at stores etc. just to dish out compliments, i could have had this life if I didnt marry stupidly.
