it really was a great film. a poignant tale about a morbidly obese college english professor who left his family to suck and fuck a male student. the adversity he overcame was incredible. when most americans think about "heroes" theyre too fixated on people like jimmy stewart, or roger staubach, or jackie robinson, but they never remember characters like the whale. really makes you think.
