The trees take up the chemicals (largely PCPs from creosote) and then microbes and fungi break them down in the rhizosphere removing them from the water table. We are getting 20 year funding on each project, I hire native americans to do the labor and the tribes are "stakeholders" so everything gets rubber stamped. I dont know anything about science and chatgpt writes all the grant paperwork for me. Water should be over 90% free of pollutants by end of funding. |
