my local brewery has pivoted to basically become a sports bar for soccer. every time i drive by theres always turds in soccer scarfs standing around and nurses with untrained pitbulls ready to maul any small child.
its the gayest place on earth

All that hazy overly sweet beer surrounded by industrial lighting and corrugated metal.
This is what happens when rich boomer parents trustfundmax their offspring, with a future promise of inheriting the family house/land when parents decide to boomer-out to a high end condo or the family cottage, all the while telling them 'if they love what they do, they'll never work a day' in their overly internet-shared life, Larry. This is what happens Larry.

OP seems happy with life.
In my tier 2 city a number of the less popular places have closed but the total number is probably still around what it was in 2016ish. The popular places are still packed. They also now sell THC drinks, coffee, pre/mixed cocktails and the beers while still lots of hazy IPAs seem to have more Pilsner/lagers now.
My sample size is based on 2 visits this month. One was at a work event on a Tuesday near downtown and it was packed with a mix of older 20/30 year olds and older people and the other was meeting a few other couples for a lunch (in suburbs 30 minutes from city) on a nice weather Saturday and kids (including ours) were running around everywhere in the large area and having a blast.
IMO, anything that gets people together IRL these days is a good thing.

Yes tons of shitty breweries opened up and are closing now.
What remains after this contraction is still over 10X what we saw in the early 2000s, and like I said, the good breweries are still packed.
Not sure why anyone should care that the fad chasing bros who have shitty beer closed down.

SOUR & FUNKY
VISALIA BLOOD ORANGE SOUR
6.2% ABV 5 IBU
Every year, we team up with our favorite Valley farmer, Brock, to bring you this powerhouse of a sour. Juiced orange by orange by our crew, this bold brew is loaded with peak-season blood oranges bursting with intense fruit punch vibes. Tart, juicy, and bright as a Valley sunrise — it's no wonder this one's a fan favorite in our sour lineup.
BOTANICAL GIN SOUR
6.5% ABV 5 IBU
Wild, funky, and refreshingly complex — this mixed culture sour brings together Brett C, Brett Trois, and Lactobacillus for a vibrant dance of citrusy tartness and dry, effervescent funk. We finish it with a botanical twist, infusing the brew with gin-inspired aromatics from our friends at Tin City Distillery. Bright lemon peel, soft pine, and a whisper of spice round out each sip, making this one a crisp crusher with a whole lotta depth.
