What would have actually been effective would have getting DOGE to work and really throwing weight behind it. To this day I think it was the biggest actual win of this Trump admin. Every few days I see some new thing on Twitter where someone discovered some insanely evil and ridiculous thing that USAID was funding and organizing. The stuff that DOGE succeeded in gutting actually did make a permanent difference, unlike anything else this admin has done
In that way, libertarians have been proven pretty correct in their belief that government is just The Enemy, period |
