They couldn't hold the foothold over it that they were gifted by the Ukrainian commander failing to blow the Kherson bridge.
And now they are finding it difficult to even maintain a skeleton force to garrison their side of the river, with the dangers inherent in the drone age. And yet we're supposed to believe that some day Russia is going to be able to move in the massive amphibious forces required to even attempt an opposed crossing of the river to threaten Odessa. LOL ... |
