US Intelligence is investigating that the DC shooter might have been blackmailed into the attack - with claims the Taliban had threatened his family back in Afghanistan.

So this attack wasn’t about too much immigration - it was about too little!

This is why, when Dems pushed for these programs to bring Afghan allies to the US, it was argued that we needed to bring their families too, both because it was the right thing to do, but also a security threat to not.

Republicans pushed back, and in many cases, translators, supporters and allies got visa for their help, but had to leave their wives and children behind in Afghanistan - their only option was to send money home and hope one day they could get them Visas.

Now the Taliban may be exploiting that failure, to make compel attacks.

That would make this tragedy one that is self inflicted, and the result of anti-immigration policies.
