BotW was basically made without Miyamoto somehow whereas there are stories about twilight princess where he kept making the devs Redo Everything which made it Hell on his Engineers (Nerds).
But Miyamoto himself hit a home run with Super Mario 64 and OOT. It’s complicated. They were up against Sony so they had to actually make Games. |

not enough people talk about how Similar they are. forget the Same Map. it's the Same Story ffs. black sludge but for different reasons. it's ridiculous.
Also BoTW does certain things so much better. the soundtrack in and out of the castle was incredible and epic. TotK has the Same Castle and it's not epic at all, just boring OST iirc. |
