No matter how bad it gets for Ukraine, Zelensky is 100% committed to continuing it; the entire Western coalition has committed enormous political capital to it such that the optics of a truce/capitulation/surrender are going to look quite bad; the West has enormous sums of money to keep funding Ukraine, there is no real hard cap despite what people say about the will not being there; and Russia seems content to keep bashing away at the current low simmer.
