what is the point of firing coaches mid season?

if it’s a middling program idk. that’s a good Q. sometimes it does pan out. get the gears in motion for new season sooner. |

So you get an extra shitty year 0 with new coach and new regime is up and running for year 1. Basically by giving up on current season early, you can start building for the future earlier
