There was a lot of sexual energy in SoCal, or maybe it was just the 80s. The story was that the owner had let his daughter and her husband live in the house rent free. The husband took up with my friend across the street. To retaliate, the wife, the owner's daughter, took up with a guy down the street. The guy down the street fell in love and asked the daughter to leave her husband and run away with him. She declined, saying, "Are you crazy? I don't even like you. I'm just fucking you to get even with my husband." He became enraged and threatened to kill her. The next door neighbor, being a busybody, found out and told daddy, who evicted the adulterous couple. That's how we got the house.

Our friends across the street, Mary and George, then entered into a group marriage and moved to Potomac. On a snowy winter day George called me to say that all the furniture wouldn't fit, and that if I wanted a bedroom set I had to come get it immediately. I rented a truck and drove to Potomac to pick up what turned out to be a really nice and expensive set of furniture. We still have it, though it has been refinished to get the cum stains off.

Unfortunately, the group marriage didn't work out. Nobody wanted to fuck George, so he moved out and left the three to do whatever they did in whatever order. It was a sad story. George is still around. He's pretty well known in DC circles.
