Date: August 27th, 2026 3:30 PM Author: agenticman there are many levels to this but one of the most fucked up plays is to promote fitness culture online with shortcels getting attention for their video angles making them look big - you then have packed gyms as a result with one hundred screens in them and heavily curated music that is quite possibly the gayest music played in a public space.
300 people in the gym at the same time is 300 listeners to that song - it all gets racked up and heavily rotated and you have some goblin freak at the top of the charts etc as if millions of people are listening to them.
They usually don't do that many concerts due to they don't have real fans.
