rhode island just seems like a haven for buckwild whites and it's not that poor. plenty of LMC and MC white enclaves in the suburbs of major cities following white flight. staten island and queens don't produce the type of buckwild whites that RI does.
i think it's not so much proximity to civilization as proximity to wealthy whites and lifelong internalized inferiority complex. sam hyde and boner police both seem to have been driven insane by it. |

He told me this epic story about his family's decline through every generation. It was so long ago but he had a lengthy screed about how the unique skills that rose his family to prominence were essentially wiped out over time. They were all weened on ploughing and the ox cart and primitive shit. And at one point they supposedly owned all the land. But bit by bit they sunk back into proledom as their luck ran out.
