In North Carolina. His wife stays home with their 5 kids. Lives in a big ass house and they've taken 2-3 vacations this summer (not to mention coming home for our 20th hs reunion).

I've spent the summer stressing about "attention to detail" emails from biglaw partner and how our $330k hhi is somehow not enough when you factor in $1800/mo for daycare for one kid and $2500 mortgage on a ww2 era shitshack in Montgomery County. Fml

I know a bro who manages a trendy fast casual mexican bar and restuarant in a big, nice, college town. Think like chipotle but with a legit bar.

All of his "staff" are college girls and he married one. Dude parties all the time. Lives dat Havard MBA lifestyle. Hell probably die at 50 but he is loving life.

Before ITE, some of the grocery managers I worked with were getting 20k bonuses, free trips, you name it. A few of them didn't even attend college and barely had to lift a finger in the store.

My dad is an electrician. For most of my childhood, my mom stayed at home and he would even come over in the middle of the day to hang out with us when we were really young. It was awesome. I feel badly for so many of my UMC friends because they kind of never saw their dads.

Spent years working in BIGFOOD in hs through college. Much better to be a bartender with a 40k 9-5. Dudes like this just pocket their cash (10-30k) in cash, tax free.

Knew a bro like this with a wife, 4 kids, a McMansion and atvs. Managers have to go through hell to move up the ranks. Then they have to work nights and weekends and deal with prole workers

owning five successful restaurants would be extremely fucking stressful to develop and manage, and most restaurants have really low margins. this is an absurd claim.
