My beef is that that the GOP doesn't attack the underlying premise itself. The GOP's tactics tacitly give credibility to the idea of "trans" to begin with. What needs to happen is a non-stop brutal attack on the idea that someone can be "trans" to begin with.
The reality is that it is incredibly simple to attack the trans concept because it has no merit whatsoever. And the amount of damage it does to society is directly related to its obvious absurdity. It is no different in concept from anorexia ("I'm so fat, I can't eat food anymore, I need to lose weight and be thin") -- and we aren't running around talking about "Anorexic Rights are Human Rights." Obviously both issues stem from deeper underlying issues (and are absolutely influenced by increasingly unnatural external factors.)
The fact that people are supposed to sit around pretending that some dude named Brian is really Brianna (and "always has been") because "they" said they "feel like a woman" is beyond the pale. And people who know better are such fucking cowards that they don't just say:
"YOU CANNOT EVEN DESCRIBE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE YOU, LET ALONE WHAT IT COULD POSSIBLY FEEL LIKE TO BE SOMEONE ELSE. NO ONE CAN DO THIS. ANY DESCRIPTION OF HOW YOU FEEL IS NEBULOUS AND IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT INTO WORDS THAT MEAN ANYTHING CONCRETE. AT BEST YOU CAN DESCRIBE YOUR EMOTIONAL STATE, BUT TO EVEN DESCRIBE HOW YOU ARE A MAN OR WOMAN IN A REAL AND PROVABLE WAY INCLUDES A DESCRIPTION OF YOUR GENITALS AND CHROMOSOMES. FUCK YOU."
Mind you, "trans" advocates argue extensively that gender roles aren't real *but then lean on gender role descriptions to show how someone is trans.*
I understand how people, perhaps like you, argue "well, the average midwit normie isn't able to handle reality and this helps get them comfortable with pushing back on a problematic issue." But it's wrong in this case. This actually does far more to normalize "trans" bullshit than not talking about the issue at all. Because this basically says "no, no you can do this if you're an adult, just don't play in my kid's sports." LOL wtf are you shitting me with this?
This is being argued in the Supreme Court and well meaning people are going to be sitting around their dinner tables talking about the merits of the arguments when there shouldn't even be a case to begin with! No fucking way James Madison would've been pushing for the judicial branch had he foreseen anything even remotely approaching this insanity.
At the end of both sides' arguments, a reanimated Pol Pot should've entered the room and taken care of both sides with total brutality. |
