Have noticed other parents, including friends, who are on their phones constantly in front of their kids. Just makes me feel bad for the kids and I assume will lead to issues. Many of the parents seem totally unaware as to how brutally addicted they are to the device and how bad it is to behave that way. Then they wonder why their kids act out.
You go to a playground with your kids and 80% of the parents are just staring at their phones. And for what? To look at some faggot crap on Instagram? Some throwaway "content."
It's a fucking disgrace. |

It’s disgusting but it’s true everywhere now. Stopped at a busy Starbucks on Saturday for kid bathroom emergency. I ordered something because I’m not a total freeloader (now known as a sucker) and was looking around and of the ~30 non-employees there, 2 were not staring at their phones - me and an impatient bitch who was displeased that her pickup order wasn’t ready. The world is forever changed and it’s hard to argue for the better.
And even if we put phones down, it’s tough when mom and grandparents are just as bad re phone use. |

I'm guilty of a lot of phone use too but its striking how these other people aren't mentally present at all. |
