Date: November 3rd, 2025 9:21 PM Author: Beta irradiated national hominid that's just the literalist and evangelical coded readings known to pop culture thanks to the waves from the impact of the bush years if you read it as a tract against rome---i do---from the context of john of patmos' perspective and trials, it's quite beautiful as poetry/written song and makes a lot of sense and difficult to place criticisms of what must've been inconceivable to minds of the time pondering the roman system and structure and from that perspective, it fits quite neatly with jewish polemics against the romans and the greeks (seleucids) as well (which i agree with in part, at the very least) |
