we have no choice. it might happen faster but i doubt it (although it's possible - just look at national discourse today vs a year ago).
the boomers need to retire/die, and we still have a while before that happens - the youngest ones are 59/60, and on israel they're probably as bad as older boomers. over the next decade, even the youngest boomers will be leaving the workforce and positions of leadership in droves.
it'll be interesting to see what happens politically. mamdani's election was huge. i don't care about all his bullshit free bus pass and rent freeze stuff, he won't do any of that. he openly criticized israel and won. that may be an early indication that support for israel is becoming a political liability. if that catches on fast and wide, then we will see a change much faster.
